ContactRelay SMS opt-in and consent proof

ContactRelay sends user-initiated, one-time SMS notices only after the sender confirms a valid relationship or permission basis for selected recipients.

Opt-in method

ContactRelay uses a website opt-in and sender attestation workflow. The sender creates a campaign, selects or uploads recipients, and must actively confirm that each SMS recipient gave permission for this one-time contact update or has an existing personal, professional, family, customer, or invited-event relationship where this specific informational update is expected and lawful.

ContactRelay does not allow purchased lists, scraped lists, rented lists, borrowed lists, cold outreach, lead generation, political messaging, debt collection, spam, harassment, or unsolicited marketing.

Message frequency and disclosures

Frequency

One SMS notification per selected relay recipient, plus possible STOP or HELP responses when a recipient replies.

Carrier disclosure

Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
