How to use
Upload contacts and send a Contact Relay
Start with your updated contact info, add recipients from the source that is easiest for you, then review the list before sending.
Quick start
1. Add your updated contact info
Enter your name and the new phone number or email recipients should save.
2. Add recipients
Use CSV, vCard, Google Contacts, saved contacts, or manual entry. Only add people who already know you.
3. Review before checkout
Recipients are selected by default. Uncheck anyone who should not receive the relay.
4. Pay and send
Use one Relay Token for one send event. Recipients receive a secure save link.
Upload options
All upload choices are in Step 2, Add recipients. You can mix methods, then remove duplicates or uncheck contacts during review.
Upload CSV
Use a spreadsheet export with columns named first_name, last_name, email, and phone. CSV is best for business lists you already maintain.
Upload vCard
Use a .vcf file from your phone or contacts app. vCard is usually the fastest option when your contacts live on a phone.
Import from Google Contacts
Sign in with Google, grant contacts permission only when prompted, then choose the contacts you want to add to this one relay.
iPhone contacts to vCard
- Open the Contacts app.
- Tap Lists, then choose the list you want to export.
- Touch and hold the list name, then choose Export.
- Select the fields you want included, then save or share the .vcf file.
- In ContactRelay Step 2, choose Import contacts from vCard and upload that .vcf file.
Android and Google Contacts
- Open the Google Contacts app or go to contacts.google.com.
- Select the contacts you want to include.
- Choose Export, then select vCard for phone-friendly upload or CSV for spreadsheet upload.
- In ContactRelay Step 2, upload the file or choose Import from Google Contacts.
CSV format
ContactRelay looks for these CSV column headers: first_name, last_name, email, phone. At least one name, email, or phone field should be present for each recipient.
